NSF funds Boa 2.0, the next generation of software-at-scale infrastructure
October 01, 2021
The National Science Foundation is supporting Boa 2.0, a renewal and expansion of the lab’s infrastructure for studying software and its evolution at a large scale. Boa 2.0 enhances the platform that lets researchers express an analysis once and run it across enormous code corpora.
The award keeps this community resource current and capable as the volume of open-source software continues to grow, supporting empirical software-engineering research that depends on analysis at scale.
This work is part of Analyzing Software at Scale, with Boa; see our overview. Details are on the NSF award page.
